Congratulations on your choice of using Galaxy Granite & Marble
Company for your countertop and granite or marble tiling project. Choosing one of our
premium grade granite slab products is one of the wisest investments you will ever make.
Granite is one of the most beautiful and durable natural products in the world. Galaxy
Granite & Marble Company is proud to be the fabricator and installer of the granite
material for your home or commercial business.
Galaxy Granite & Marble Company is one of the most experienced fabricators of granite
countertops in the Metro Detroit area. The granite material supplied for your project has
been cut from premium quality granite that has been selected for its natural color, grain
structure and durability characteristics. Variations in grain, pattern and markings are
inherent characteristics of natural stone and cannot be construed as a defect.
Galaxy Granite & Marble Company warrants to the purchaser of this product that the
granite is free from defects in the material and in the workmanship provided by Galaxy
Granite & Marble Company and that the product has been inspected and approved under
strict quality guidelines. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE
DATE OF INSTALLATION.
This warranty applies to granite installed in its original location by one of our
certified professionals and becomes null and void if the granite is moved from its
original installation location. This warranty covers only the materials and workmanship supplied by
Galaxy Granite & Marble Company and expressly excludes defects in materials or
workmanship supplied by any party other than Galaxy Granite & Marble Company (3rd
party installers) .
Any claim made against this warranty must be submitted in writing. Upon verification by a
Galaxy Granite & Marble Company field inspector of a valid claim made against this
warranty, Galaxy Granite & Marble Company will, at its option, repair or replace the
affected material if it fails due to any defect caused by Galaxy Granite & Marble
Company during the fabricating cutting steps and installation of the granite
material at your premises.
In the event of a defect in material and/or workmanship provided by Galaxy Granite &
Marble Company, the cost of repair or replacement shall be borne by Galaxy Granite &
Marble Company and includes the labor charges necessary to repair or replace the
granite material outlined in the purchase contract. If replacement of the stone is deemed
necessary, replacement will be made with a granite marketed by Galaxy Granite & Marble
Company at the time it honors this warranty, as nearly identical as possible to the
original stone in color, grain and grade. This warranty does not cover the cost of any
repairs or replacement undertaken prior to your receipt of a claim verification from
Galaxy Granite & Marble Company.
This warranty specifically excludes defects or damages caused by the following:
Customer abuse or misuse of the surface and failure to maintain stone
properly, in accordance with Galaxy Granite & Marble Company’s recommendations
given to each customer after completion of the job.
Stains and/or discoloration, dark spots or fissures which are naturally
occurring in the stone. Normal spotting or discoloration caused by leaving acidic liquid
spills on the surface which can be removed by fine gain steel wool and a stone cleaning
compound.
Customer use of abrasive of improper cleaning compounds on the granite
or marble surfaces can void this 1 year warranty. Also scratches to stone surfaces caused
by sharp instruments voids this replacement warranty
This warranty is limited to the provisions stated above, and no other
warranty, expressed or implied, exists. The implied warranty of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose is expressly excluded. Except as provided herein, Galaxy Granite
& Marble Company shall not be liable in either tort or contract for any loss or
direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use
granite or marble surfaces for the application as stated herein. Some states do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The above limitations
may not apply to you
 
Granite is an amazing natural stone that comes in a large variety of
textures and colors. It is a very dense, durable stone that needs very little maintenance
and can be used for a number of interior and exterior designs. Granite is an igneous rock,
which means it was once molten and formed as it cooled deep within the earth and requires
expensive quary work to get to our workshop. Minerals within granite typically appear as
small flecks throughout the stone, once creating a salt and pepper look. Other types have
veining similar to marble. Granite is a dense-grained, hard stone. It can be highly
polished or finished in a variety of other ways. A broad spectrum of colors are available.
Galaxy Granite & Marble Company is a full service fabricator and
installer of stock, or custom cut granite counter tops in either residential or commercial
properties. We also quote jobs for fireplaces, bathrooms, restaurants, retail storefronts,
office building, spas requiring a firm installed price on top grade granite and marble
stone surfaces. Our standard full install service charge is $34.95/sq ft. with additional
costs for special shaping, counter cutouts or rare granite type projects. Some of the

Cutting and fabrication of granite and marble slabs for all flat surface
mounting in both commercial and residential countertop projects. These services also are
priced to include expert installation and a 1 year guarantee on all materials and labor.
Our price quotes are based upon accurate measurements and drawings
to compute the square footage and cutting requirements of the are to be covered. We use
only top grade granite or marble slabs for all projects, so the standard price of
$34.95/sq. ft. is for materials, fabrication and installation labor,delivery and sealing
the finished counter top, fireplace or floor/wall tiling job. Side and wall splashes are
included in pricing.
